EXPERIENCE
Jamie is a proactive case manager who has experience of working with clients suffering brain and spinal injuries, polytrauma, complex orthopaedic trauma and pain conditions.
Jamie studied BSc Physiotherapy at the university of Cumbria and with many years of experience in clinical and leadership roles as a physiotherapist.
He is highly skilled in managing client led rehabilitation plans throughout their recovery journey, from acute and complex care to return to work and sport.
Prior to work as a case manager Jamie worked as a community manager improving health and quality of life to his local population.
Jamie has excellent communication skills and values honesty and transparency to ensure all parties are kept informed in a timely manner to support the client’s progress.
He has a large network of skilled therapist that he has built relationships with over the years ensuring safe effective and well-matched treatment for clients in need.
Jamie is empathetic and is highly motivated and is skilled at motivating individuals helping them to achieve their own goals as well as therapy goals, thereby increasing functional ability on a biopsychosocial basis and consequently quality of life.
PERSONAL PROFILE
Jamie is an active individual who likes to explore the outdoors in the lake District and the mountains of Scotland. He enjoys spending time with his family and his dog. Jamie holds rehabilitation close to his heart working previously within a community team improving the quality of life to his local population. He enjoys improving the social opportunities for clients that come from outdoor pursuits and activities.
