Anshul is an experienced Senior Social worker with extensive experience of working within Local Authorities and NHS. Anshul has worked in older persons team, adults with physical disabilities team, hospital discharge team and currently working as a full time Case Manager since May 2018 at the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre.

Anshul is passionate about supporting people to identify and achieve their goals, thereby assisting them to fulfil their ambitions and meeting their goals. He has good knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislations and developments in the field of social care, human rights act and its application in the day-to-day practice.

Anshul is highly experienced in completing statutory multi-disciplinary care assessments, devising person centred care plans, setting up complex care packages including direct payments. Additionally, he has a strong experience of carrying out Section 42 – Safeguarding Adults Enquiries and Mental Capacity Assessments.

His current role as a Case Manager at the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre involves carrying out multi-disciplinary needs assessments, planning and co-ordinating person centred rehabilitation programmes, sourcing statutory funding and subsequently planning and organising highly complex care packages, organising daily living equipments, adaptations and supporting with suitable housing options and facilitate a safe discharge into the community ensuring that the person has as much independence and control on their daily life.
