About the role:  
Are you someone who is passionate about making a difference? If so, we would love to hear from you!
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to support a young woman with a brain injury in the Wakefield area.
You will support her with her rehabilitation programme and to increase her independence, both at home and in the community. Training and supervision will be given.  
You will be supporting the young women to live her life how she chooses, to be herself and to achieve her personal goals.
Support can include varying degrees of social integration, attending the gym, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and dog walking.
This post may include evenings, weekend shifts and occasional sleep-in duties to support the client on holiday, to be planned with notice.

About you:
you are reliable and professional - you value honesty and discretion
you have a full, clean UK driving licence
you have your own car that you can use for work purposes
must be happy to work around children and the family dog
you are friendly and approachable
you are flexible and you work well under pressure
Experience and understanding of working with an individual with an acquired brain injury  
Able to work overtime with notice to cover school holidays and annual leave
Willing and able to support the client on holiday in the UK and abroad
Friendly, patient and reliable individual who is willing and able to take an active interest in the client’s hobbies and activities.  

About us:
CCMS provides an essential service to both adults and children who have suffered brain and spinal injury. Qualified staff assess clients’ needs and offer individually designed case management and rehabilitation programmes.  


CCMS is not an agency. Recruitment of staff for small, personalised care teams is part of our case management service and is undertaken on behalf of individuals using this service. The successful applicant will be employed by the Deputies who act on behalf of the clients. CCMS are not the Employer.


All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided.
