We are seeking two Experienced Full-Time Support Workers, to support a twelve-year-old boy who has complex additional needs living in the Worcester area.

The role will involve providing care, prescribed therapies and activities to the child, to include day to day care, play and development.

It will be necessary to work alongside treating therapists and follow any therapy programmes, within the family home, in play areas and during activities.  There will be some household duties to be completed related to the child. We are seeking somebody enthusiastic and able to build a strong working relationship with our client and his family.

Experience in care and ideally with children within special educational needs environments is beneficial.

Working hours: 36 hours per week, both Day and Night hours available.

Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.

Rates of pay £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £19.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
