Brain Injury Support Worker

This is an exciting opportunity to support a young man with a severe brain injury. BD is 21 years old, loves football (Leeds United), music and socialising.

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join his team as brain injury support workers. You will deliver his support, clinical needs and rehabilitation plan under the direction of the case manager and treating clinical team supporting him to live the best life possible.

You will initially offer support in a rehabilitation unit progressing towards supporting in the community. It is a requirement that any successful candidate is willing to work in the rehabilitation unit on a temporary basis with Nottingham being the primary work base.

The successful candidate will have passion and enthusiasm towards promoting the rehabilitation of our client, strong communication skills, knowledge of Brain Injury and be confident in the water to assist with rehabilitation activities.

Working hours: 30 hours per week.

Excellent rates of pay.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
