Brain Injury Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate Brain Injury Support Worker to provide comprehensive care to an individual with Cerebral Palsy, who lives at home with his family in Warrington, Cheshire.

This role involves delivering all personal care, including managing mobility, delivering medication, suction, and PEG care.

The role also includes light domestic tasks and you will be expected to support the client in accessing college and social settings.

An ideal candidate will exhibit confidence, creativity, and thrive in independent work environments. Whilst working in the family home, consideration for all family members is essential.

Our client is a sociable young man who enjoys people watching and engaging within the community. The role offers a meaningful opportunity to promote independence, while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Previous experience working with brain-injured clients is essential, as is a full driving licence. The successful candidate must be comfortable working around the family dog.

Working hours: Up to 18 hours per week, although can be flexible.  

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided.
