Bank Support Worker/Carer

Position of Support Worker/Carer to join a support team working with a gentleman in Cleobury Mortimer, near Kidderminster, who has an acquired brain injury. He enjoys being active such as going to the gym, walking his dog, and spending time with his young son.


The position will require working with the treating therapists and following therapy programmes at home and in the community, to promote physical and cognitive development. There will be some clinical procedures for which all training will be provided to ensure competencies.


This will be a very rewarding role for the right applicant. Applicants will need to be energetic, happy to be inside and outside trying lots of different things. You will work as part of a team on a 1:1 basis.


The role will cover both day shifts, with the occasional nights as required. There will be the opportunity to accompany the gentleman and his family on holidays in this country and abroad.


Excellent rates of pay.


All necessary training will be provided.


Previous experience in care is essential.


An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.


All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
