At the end of August 2018 Silverliners, clients of Community Case Management Services, Maggie, Kate, Nicola Cale, Jenny Davies, Ali Drake and Olivia Whiteside travelled to Normandy and stayed in our beautiful Farmhouse in the village of Camprond.

The week consisted of some fun activities and lovely weather. On the first night everyone arrived and enjoyed delicious BBQ before getting an early night to be ready for the days ahead.

Day 1: After a delicious breakfast of local croissants, pain au chocolate, yogurt and fruit, the group headed to a market in the town of La Haye-du-Puits and enjoyed wandering the streets and sampling some local French produce!

In the afternoon Silverliners enjoyed sandsailing and kite flying on the beach at Agon-Coutainville. The wind meant that they picked up some good speed and there was no need for us to push this year! Dinner followed at La Cale which is Maggie’s favourite restaurant on the beach. The group enjoyed the evening watching their food being cooked before their eyes on the open fire!

Day2: Half of the group set off to Granville for a tour of the house and grounds of Christian Dior whilst others spent the morning at the local Flea market. The afternoon was spent cockle picking at Gonneville-Sur-Mer. Later that night Bruno served up a delicious meal with the cockles that were collected on the beach that day so that the team could enjoy the fruits of their labour.

We are looking forward to next year already.
