Waking Night Support Worker
He is classified to be in a low awareness state. He is physically, functionally, and cognitively dependent on others to meet his needs. He is gradually becoming much responsive and is aware of people he is close to and his surroundings.
He lives with his parents and is cared for by a dedicated team of rehab support workers 2-1-day time and waking night care.
As well as care and support, you will be trained by the therapists to be able to carry out a rehabilitation programme. The therapy team includes an Occupational Therapist (OT), Neuro Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Music Therapist and a Massage Therapist.
Working hours: 30.75 hours per week.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
