Waking Night Support Worker
Waking Night Support Worker required preferably with experience of SEN, but not essential, to support our client who is an 18-year-old young man with complex needs living in the Taunton area.
A great opportunity to be working alongside an energetic young man and his family, in their own home. Our client is looking for someone who is kind, caring and ideally has some experience of SEN, in addition to experience of working with children and young people with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours.
The role will involve some aspects of personal care (not all). The Waking Night role involves some aspects of personal care, monitoring oxygen levels, medication administration, PEG feeding and some prior experience working with a ventilator would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
The hours are 24 hours per week (2x12 hours shifts). Additional evening hours may also be available.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised, flexible, and can fit into a loving family environment, and has had experience of working with clients with special needs.
Excellent rates of pay: £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £17.00 per hour Saturdays and Sundays. A full clean driving licence is essential as you will be expected to drive our client's adapted vehicle.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. A full driving licence is essential.
