Children's Night Support Worker

This is an exciting, well-paid opportunity to work for a delightful young 2-year-old with complex health needs.

We are looking for a support worker to work a Friday and Saturday night shift from 8pm-8am.

You will be working in our client’s large family home in Brighton, where she lives with her mum and older sister.

She enjoys different musical toys, interactive activities and plenty of cuddles!

You will be expected to administer nutrition and medication through our client’s PEG and ensure she is comfortable. You will learn how to monitor her epilepsy and know when to seek assistance.

All training and guidance will be provided prior to commencement in post and you will be working in a friendly, supportive environment, with regular supervision. 

You will be given opportunities for personal development and many opportunities for additional qualifications if desired.

Working hours: Friday and Saturday nights, 8pm-8am. Further hours are available if desired.    

Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.

An NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
