Therapeutic Support Workers

Ref: NC/MB

Do you love Bands, Rock music and Ross Noble?

A brilliant opportunity to support a man who has an acquired brain injury and complex diabetes not to be held back by his health conditions and to enjoy life to the max!

The role is flexible and best described as living alongside our client and making a difference moment to moment.

No previous experience is necessary, full training will be given and ongoing training is in place for the team.

Activities involve shopping and planning meals, visiting friends, promoting a healthy lifestyle, chatting about bands, lyrics and visiting Witney’s only independent music store! Going to gigs, making comedy sketches, joining a weekly art group and films and cinema.

Our client is really sociable yet can need heaps of reassurance to get through his day.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as is a driving licence and a great sense of humour. You will thrive working independently but enjoy being part of a strong team (his band!).

Please contact us on 01608 682522 to find out more.

Working hours: Full-time, Part-time and Bank hours available. Sleep in Night shifts also available.

Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
