*Female Support Worker

We would love for you to come and join our caring and enthusiastic team to support, full time contract, and bank zero hours contract

Our senior support worker has had to leave after six years, we have a full-time position to cover day shifts, some weekend, and sleep in shifts.

We also have a bank, zero hours contract to cover occasional day and sleep in shifts.

Our client needs 24-hour support.  She is fun, good humoured, has a passion for horses, F1 motor racing, she loves quizzes, company and watching too much television!

She has progressed extremely well but needs encouragement, some help with personal care, supervision and practical support in the house, and with all daily activities while promoting her independence, physical and psychological well-being and her safety.

As part of a team, you will help enable our client to lead a fulfilling social life; planning and accompanying to community-based activities to include RDA (Riding for the Disabled), social events, days out and short trips away.  You will be caring and committed approachable, have a sense of humour, be well organised, flexible and good verbal and written English. and be flexible  

Previous experience of brain injury support work preferred but not essential as the right personality to engage with our Client is more desirable.   

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
