*Female Bank Support Worker
Our client has some complex psychological difficulties following her traumatic brain injury.
The successful applicant will be proactive, able to work using their own initiative and a chatty and cheerful disposition would be advantageous, in addition to an interest in conversational topics such as politics, travel and culture. You will work with her in a supportive and enabling role to help her lead as fulfilling a life as possible, whilst always maximising her physical and psychological well-being and safety.
Applications from candidates who are studying psychology/healthcare are welcome.
This is a Bank position so there will be no guaranteed hours each week however, when you are required to work it will be a 24-hour shift covering the hours of 10.30am – 10.30am. Availability on a Sunday would be preferred.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised, flexible, have excellent communication skills and who can demonstrate a passion for working with individuals in their own homes and the community.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Alternatively, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential and if you have your own vehicle it must be insured for business use.
