*Female Bank Rehab Assistant/Support Worker
We are recruiting an enthusiastic and caring bank rehabilitation assistant/support worker who has experience of working with young adults with additional needs. This is an ideal role for someone interested or studying in the fields of brain injury rehabilitation, psychology, occupational therapy or physiotherapy.
The successful applicant will be responsible for enabling the client to lead a fulfilling social life, appropriate to a girl of her age, including enabling development of social skills, enabling the client to develop and maintain meaningful friendships, assisting in researching, planning, booking and taking part in fun activities with friends. The position may also include weekend day trips, longer trips around the UK and trips abroad. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, including personal care, maximising the client’s physical and psychological well-being, and maintaining safety at all times.
Applicants must be confident, creative and independent with the ability to take the initiative and work alone. In addition, you must have an outgoing, fun and adventurous personality and are able to provide good company and enjoy talking with our client and taking part in planned activities.
Applicants must be confident in using IT for email and support worker documentation.
Working hours: This is a bank position so hours will vary, but will include evening and weekend shifts, more shifts would be available in school holidays and support is especially required over these periods.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential and applicants must be happy to drive on motorways and long-distance as required. You will be required to drive the clients vehicle, therefore applicants must be over the age of 21.
