*Female Support Worker

Ref: MC/BS

The role will involve driving our client home from school and also provide support outside of school and during the weekend, hours can be flexible.  The successful applicant will work with treating therapists implementing rehabilitation programmes, supporting at after school activities and developmental play.

There will be the need for some personal care.

The main place of work will be the family home and the successful applicant will need to be able to engage with the client’s family.

Applicants must be enthusiastic, caring, patient, well organised and flexible to work with this energetic young girl.

Previous experience is preferable, but a passion for care is essential.

Working hours: 18-24 hours per week.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided through relevant courses and ongoing therapist training. A full driving licence is essential.
