*Female Support Worker (zero-hour)
Our client lives on her own and needs 24-hour support. She is fun, good humoured, has a passion for horses, F1 motor racing, she loves quizzes and company. She has progressed extremely well with her rehabilitation; however, needs some encouragement, some help with personal care, supervision and practical support in the house, and with all daily activities while promoting her independence, physical and psychological well-being and maintaining her safety.
As part of a team you will have a sense of humour, be approachable, caring and committed, thus enable our client to lead a fulfilling social life, planning and accompanying to community-based activities to include RDA (Riding for the Disabled) carriage driving, the gym, social events, visits from family, days out and short trips away. We would love for you to come and join our caring and enthusiastic team.
Previous experience of brain injury support work preferred but not essential as the right personality to engage with our Client and join the team is more desirable. Must have proficient use of the English Language to work with this client.
We have a variety of shifts available on a zero-hour contract.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
