Experienced *Female Team Leader

We are recruiting a Female Team Leader to organise and co-ordinate a small team of support workers who currently work with our client.

Her support workers carry out activities and have fun with her.  The successful applicant will be developing her skills by following programmes set by a private therapy team.  In addition, you will provide personal care for her and assist with suctioning of her airways when needed, support with feeding using a gastrostomy and administer medication.

Our client requires an organised, flexible person who can fit in with a family environment.

Working hours: 60 hours per month on a rota basis, to cover the following shifts:

Before school 07.30am – 09.30am

After school 5.00pm – 8.00pm

Weekends 10.00am – 8.00pm

School holidays 10.00am – 6.00pm

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided.  If the applicant is not experienced in suctioning airways and PEG feeding, then they must be willing to be trained to undertake this.  A full driving licence is essential.
