Community Support Worker
The successful applicant will assist our client in accessing community activities such as swimming, going to the gym and going for walks.
In addition, you will also be required to complete duties in the home, such as preparing his meals and processing his laundry.
Applicants must have experience of working with children or adults with autism and also enjoy outdoor activities.
We are looking for someone to work a weekend shift each week and do additional shifts in the school holidays. This can be flexible and we can alter the hours to fit with the correct candidate.
1 x 8 hour weekend day shift per week in term time (39 weeks of the year).
4 x 8 hour day shifts in the school holidays, this includes both weekdays and weekends (32 hours per week, 13 weeks of the year).
There will be additional evening shifts and overnight shifts as and when required, these will be agreed in advance.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
