*Female Vocational Therapy Assistant

Our client enjoys being with animals and requires assistance to follow her desires and interests.

Applicants should have a caring profile with the ability to learn and implement prescribed therapy and work with the client to achieve her therapeutic goals under the supervision and guidance of a neuro-physiotherapist.

She requires support with keeping her home and living areas in good order, taking her to appointments, her voluntary work, her exercise regimes and taking her on outings to places of her choosing and interest.

Applicants must have good communication skills, be empathetic, responsible and risk aware, motivated and have a bubbly personality.

Working hours: 24 hours per week which encompasses the following shifts:

  • 00am to 18.00pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

There will also be the requirement to cover some evenings and weekends, but not routinely.

Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential, and applicants must be competent driving in busy traffic.
