Part-Time Support Worker
A great opportunity to be working alongside a teenage boy and his family, in their own home. Our client is looking for someone who is kind, caring, has experience of SEN, working with children and young people with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours.
The role will involve all aspects of his personal care. Appropriate training will be given.
Hours: 30 hours per week, suggested shifts are:
- Week 1 – 2 x weekdays 8.00am to 17.00pm and 1 x 12-hour weekend day.
- Week 2 – 3 x weekdays 8.00am to 18.00pm.
Weekdays will encompass taking our client to school during term-time, weekends and school holidays will be spent at our client’s home and also on days out.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised, flexible, who can fit in with a family environment and has had experience of working with children with special needs.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable but not essential. Full Mandatory/Core training will be provided.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child and Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
