Experienced *Female Support Worker
The client requires a spinal injury support worker to provide predominantly sleeping night support for two nights a week. Daytime support hours may be available on a required basis.
The role involves attending to her needs overnight as required including personal care, medication management, bladder care and supra pubic catheter care.
The support worker must understand spinal injury and be trustworthy, well organised, flexible, and able to work as part of an established team.
Working hours: 25 hours per week, 2 set sleep-in nights per week 20:00pm to 9.30am.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
