Experienced Part-Time Brain Injury Support Worker
He is an outgoing young man who you will assist to access the community, support to meet any care needs and participate in his rehabilitation programme.
He will need support to engage with an extensive programme of rehabilitation under the guidance of treating professional therapists.
The successful applicant must be committed to delivering and enabling focused support and be passionate about supporting individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations.
You will be trained to a high standard, provided with regular support and supervision, and expected to support his therapy and rehabilitation goals while promoting his independence.
Applicants must have previous care experience within the field of acquired brain injury.
Working hours: 25 hours per week, to include days, nights and weekends.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is preferable or actively being worked towards.
