Experienced Team Leader
An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated individual to take on the full time Team Leadership role, supporting our client through the next phase of his life into independent living. This role would suite someone with previous and proven experience in leading and managing a team within the health and social care sector.
The role will require the successful candidate to manage a team of support workers working closely with family and professionals to ensure a community-based support program is implemented and followed. This role provides a unique and fantastic opportunity to build and grow your own skills and experience as the client moves into his own home with his support team and a friend, where the role will expand to provide leadership and management over a wider care team.
The successful candidate should have experience of working with individuals with complex levels of need, including communication difficulties, working closely with treating therapists and supporting individuals in a community setting.
Working hours- 36 hours per week to include days, waking nights and weekends.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
