Bank Rehabilitation Assistant


Are you looking to gain further experience as a rehabilitation assistant?

This is an exciting role for the right person to deliver rehabilitation with a young man.

Our client is 15 year old and sustained a brain injury at birth. He is an active and intelligent young man living with his family.

A rehabilitation assistant is required:

To work with our client in a rehabilitation and support role, enabling him to undertake   his   physiotherapy and occupational therapy rehabilitation programmes.

To work with our client to develop skills in accessing the community and participate in social activities independently.

To assist our client with completing any home-learning (GCSE level)

The bank Support Worker will be required to cover shifts as required, staff holidays and sickness.  They should be flexible and willing to deal with the day to day needs of the family. A variety of shifts are available to include days, nights and weekends.

Our client seeks someone who is well organised, flexible and have past experience with rehabilitation clients. You will need to be confident in swimming or being in water (to deliver hydrotherapy programmes) and have the ability to develop a relationship with a teenager interested in computer gaming and football.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Barring.  Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
