Experienced *Female Paediatric Support Workers
The successful applicant will support our client in all his daily activities, to include self-care, daily therapy and leisure.
You will be working in his family home alongside another carer, his parents and his younger sibling. You will be expected to administer nutrition and medication through our client’s PEG and ensure he is comfortable. You will be confident in managing his epilepsy and know when to seek assistance. All training will be provided prior to commencement in post.
It is desirable that applicants have experience of working with children who have profound and multiple learning difficulties.
The ability to speak Tamil would be beneficial, however not a requirement of the role.
Working hours: 48 hours per week to include both days and nights.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is preferred.
