Experienced *Female Support Worker
Our client requires support with cognitive tasks, emotional and behavioural aspects, relationships and enabling her to complete personal care and domestic tasks, in order that she can lead her life as close as possible to how she would have prior to her brain injury.
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the client, promoting and enabling her to develop her independence and wellbeing. You will take an active role in her rehabilitation under the supervision of the Team Leader and the case consultancy team.
You will work with the client’s team to ensure a unified approach is maintained in order to positively engage the client in all aspects of her life. You will need to have a resilient and robust personality with a positive attitude and outlook on life. You will need to be empathetic, understanding and non-judgemental and have good IT skills.
Working hours: 24 hours per week which comprise of 12 hour shifts covering the hours of 9.00am to 9.00pm or sleep-in nights of 9.00pm to 9.00am, these hours could vary so flexibility is essential.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised, responsible, trustworthy and very reliable.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
