Experience Waking Night Children's Support Worker
Experienced Waking Night Children’s Support Workers required for a young boy who has cerebral palsy living in the Rugby area.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced waking night children’s support workers to join our friendly team providing 2-1-night care to our client for 3 nights a week. Additional nights are available to cover for annual leave and sickness.
We require passionate enthusiastic support workers to work in the family home in partnership with dedicated parents and join our small team working to a rota. This is two to one-night care and you would be joining a very friendly caring team.
Our client is a thirteen-year-old boy with complex care needs, he is peg fed, requires suction, has Epilepsy and he is wheelchair dependent. He is a happy young man and he loves interactions with his siblings, school, and his care team.
He requires 24-hour care and support with all activities of daily living. This will involve assisting with the client’s therapy programme and working closely with the relevant professionals
You must have a positive attitude, be able to respond to emergencies and demonstrate ability to work confidently as part of a team and be able to demonstrate a high level of organisational and administrative skills, along with being flexible.
Working hours: 33.45 hours per week, night shift hours are 22.00pm to 09.15am
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training. All training paid for.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
