Bank Support Worker
An exciting opportunity has become available to provide support to a young, sociable and motivated adult male client living independently in the community. Our client uses a powered wheelchair for all mobility and experiences limited functional use of his limbs as a result of an acquired brain injury.
Our client requires support with all aspects of manual handling, daily activities and personal care to provide respite opportunities to an existing support worker already providing excellent levels of care and rehabilitation.
Our client is highly motivated toward his personal goals and requires applicants with vibrant personalities and a good sense of humour!
The bank Support Worker will be required to cover shifts as required, staff holidays and sickness. They should be flexible and willing to deal with the day to day needs of the family. Potentially two days per week available initially. Opportunities to progress, additional hours may be available to facilitate holidays and trips in the future.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised flexible and have a genuine caring profile with ability to learn and implement prescribed therapy and manual handling techniques following training and assessment in regard to competence and confidence.
Must be an experienced and safe driver who holds a full clean driving licence in line with RSA Motability guidelines and be happy to drive a large wheelchair accessible vehicle.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
