*Female Bank Rehab Assistant/Support Worker
Our client requires an enthusiastic and caring bank rehabilitation assistant/support worker who has experience of working with young adults with additional needs. This is an ideal role for someone interested or studying in the fields of brain injury rehabilitation, psychology, occupational therapy or physiotherapy. You will be working with an outgoing and adventurous young lady.
You will be responsible for enabling the client to lead a fulfilling social life, appropriate to a girl of her age, including enabling development of social skills, enabling the client to develop and maintain meaningful friendships, assisting in researching, planning, booking and taking part in fun activities with friends, weekend day trips, longer trips around the UK, and trips abroad. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, including personal care, maximising the client’s physical and psychological well-being, and maintaining safety at all times.
Applicants must be caring, sensitive and patient in addition to having an outgoing, fun and adventurous personality.
This is a bank position which would cover weekdays and weekends.

An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided.
A full driving licence is essential, and applicants must be over the age of 21 due to the restrictions on the clients’ adapted vehicle insurance. Applicants must be confident on driving on motorways and long distance as required.
