Experienced Support Workers
Our client lives with his parents and siblings in an adapted property. He attends school during the day and support is required to meet his needs overnight, before and after school, during school holidays and at weekends.
Support workers are required to work waking night shifts, sleep-in night shifts and day shifts to meet his care, clinical, therapeutic and social needs.
Candidates must be willing and able to work within a busy family home and have a passion for working with young people with complex needs.
We are looking for bright, energetic, flexible, and motivated people who are proactive and dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care.
Past care experience of working with children and young people is required however full bespoke training will be provided on successful appointment.
Working hours: there are 4 positions available – 2 x full time positions, approximately 36 hours per week which will be predominately nights, 1 x part time position, 20 hours per week which will be predominately days and a bank position.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised, flexible, will show passion and commitment to the role and also have the ability to working within a busy family home.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
