A small team of experienced female support workers is required for a friendly and active seven-year-old girl who lives in the Rochdale area. Our client has cerebral palsy. She needs support workers who are able to do activities with her and have fun with her.
You would be developing her skills by following programmes set by a private therapy team. You would provide personal care for her and assist with suctioning of her airways when needed, support with feeding using a gastrostomy, and administer mediation when required.
A team of support workers will cover the following shifts, which will be flexible depending on the family’s needs:
Working hours: After school from 5pm – 8pm, Weekends from 10am – 6pm, some days during the school holidays 10am – 6pm
We need organised, flexible people who can fit in with a family environment. Full training will be provided. It would be helpful for support workers to speak Urdu however; this is not essential. You would need to have experience with suctioning of air ways and PEG feeding.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
