Bank Support Worker
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, dynamic support workers to work with a client in a home environment.
Our client is a sociable 13-year-old boy with cerebral palsy and visual impairment. Experience with the use of hoists and slings would be desirable.
The support workers will assist and support with therapy programmes, such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy. You will also support with self-care, such as feeding and personal care.
The support worker will be expected to attend all essential mandatory training and also all client specific training. A high standard of documentation will be expected, and IT skills are essential.
You will be part of a team to cover a rota.
- Monday-Friday: 6am-8am, 4pm-8pm
- Saturday-Sunday: 8am-8pm
- Monday-Sunday: 8am-8pm
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Alternatively, the applicant must undertake the Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided.
