Personal Assistant/Support Worker

The role will include assistance with daily care needs, medication and medical equipment. In addition to assisting with the day to day care the support worker must be happy to accompany our client to social activities including gigs, cinema, festivals and football matches. No previous experience needed, as all training is provided in house.  

You will work in the family home as part of a small team of PA’s/Support workers.

Working hours: 24 hours per week, to include days, nights and weekends.

Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible and who also has an outgoing personality.

An NVQ Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring.  Full training will be provided, prior experience is not a necessity but the willingness to learn is essential. A full driving licence is essential.
