Waking Night Childrens Support Workers
An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Waking Night Children’s Support Workers to join our team providing support to our client who lives in Rugby for 2 nights a week and Monday to Friday 15.00pm-16.45pm
We require a passionate support worker to work in the family home in partnership with dedicated parents and join our small team working to a rota. Our client is a boy with complex care needs, he is peg fed, requires suction, has Epilepsy and he is wheelchair dependent. He requires 24-hour care and support with all activities of daily living and loves interactions with his family and care team. This will involve assisting with the client’s therapy programme and working closely with the relevant professionals.
You must have a positive attitude, be able to respond to emergencies and demonstrate ability to work confidently as part of a team and be able to demonstrate a high level of organisational and administrative skills, along with being flexible.
Working hours: 22.25 Hours, Night shift hours- 22.00pm to 09.15am. We are seeking someone for 2 nights a week and Monday to Friday 15.00pm-16.45pm
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
