Experienced Paediatric Support Worker/Buddy
The Support Worker/Buddy is required to support this boy with carrying out activities, therapy sessions, clubs and classes both at home and in the community. This will involve taking him to and from activities, supporting him with participation in classes, helping him to develop community rated skills such as road safety, and helping him carry out therapy programmes as instructed by the therapists. The child is mobile but has a visual impairment, epilepsy and some learning difficulties.
Working hours will initially be 14 hours per week. This will be on set days to include a Saturday morning due to the requirements of the role.
