*Female Rehabilitation Assistant/Support Worker
This is an ideal role for someone interested in brain injury rehabilitation, psychology, occupational therapy or physiotherapy.
You will be responsible for enabling our client to lead a fulfilling social life, appropriate to a girl of her age, including enabling development of social skills, enabling her to develop and maintain meaningful friendships, assisting in researching, planning, booking and taking part in fun activities with friends, weekend day trips, longer trips around the UK, and trips abroad.
Additional responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, including personal care, maximising the client’s physical and psychological well-being, and maintaining safety at all times.
Working hours: 15 to 20 hours per week.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring.
Full training will be provided.
A full driving licence is essential and the successful applicant must be confident in driving on motorways and long distances as and when required.
