*Female SEN Support Worker/Nurse

Ref: KD/HS

We are seeking a patient, caring and alert nurse to support our Client aged 13 at night.

Our Client is a lovely girl who has very complex needs. She has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy and is non-verbal and visually impaired. All her medication and fluids are administered via PEG, she is oxygen dependent overnight and may require occasional suctioning.

Our Client requires one to one, 24/7 care and has a dedicated team in place. She lives in a fully adapted house with her parents and her two siblings, a brother aged 10 who loves football and plays midfield and a sister aged 5, along with a rather cute Guinea Pig and two very loving dogs (Labrador and a Labradoodle).

Your role will be to provide support throughout the night and to get our Client ready for school in the morning. You will be required to monitor her, administer medication and feeds and provide all aspects of personal care.

Our Clients day starts early; at about 02.00am, once she is up and dressed she enjoys sensory activities to include listening to music and dancing in her standing sling. She also absolutely loves Mr Tumble!

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated person to join a home care team and develop existing skills and support this very special little girl.

This is a truly rewarding role with the opportunity to travel with the family on their summer holidays.
