Simone has experience in the following areas:

  •  Acquired Brain Injury (paediatric and adults), including a range of   impairments such as executive functions, organisation, impulsivity, challenging behaviour, aggression and emotional regulation
  • Mental health (Adults) including Schizophrenia, Alcoholism, Pre and Post-Natal Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, Schizoaffective Disorder and Addiction
  • Learning Disabilities (Adults) including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism and Dyslexia


Simone studied BSc(H) Psychology with mental health at Nottingham Trent University. Simone completed a qualitative research study on men who had self-identified themselves as depressed and had not received help/treatment. Simone demonstrated sound academic writing, critical thinking and analytical skills showing an understanding of the various disciplines in psychology as well as major theories and therapies.

Simone has worked as a learning disabilities and mental health community support worker, a neuro-rehabilitation assistant and a team leader. Simone delivers high standards of person-centred care, enabling clients to make informed choices and exercise control over their lives. She presents an understanding of biological, psychological and social consequences of ABI.

Simone’s team leader role involved the management of support workers and ensuring they performed their roles safely and to the best of their ability. Simone organised the monthly rota and managed annual leave requests and cover for the team. She helped develop risk assessments and care plans outlining what care and support individuals need. Simone has worked alongside clinical Neuro Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Physiotherapists.

Simone has followed the Community Case Management Services Ltd training pathway and has a sound understanding of the litigation process, the importance of record keeping and documentation, and managing a team of professionals whilst consistently following a holistic approach to rehabilitation.

As well as her work with CCMS Ltd, Simone is a swimming teacher for children with learning disabilities. During her university education, Simone volunteered as a Befriender for the Charity - Framework in Nottingham. Simone has recently volunteered at a local charity in Birmingham that supports women and men with Pre and Post-Natal Depression.






Simone appreciates the importance of maintaining a good work-life balance and enjoys regular exercise and relaxation. She attends the gym and classes four to five times a week.

She loves to travel and experience new cultures, lifestyles and history. She has volunteered in Peru for Word Challenge and visited many fascinating destinations including Barcelona, Paris, New York, New Orleans, Florida and Washington
