Since an early age, Holly has always had a drive to work in the caring profession. Following several years working as a product manager, she chose to follow her calling and return to what she loves the most - caring for others.

For the past six years, Holly has worked in a residential setting with a client who has physical disabilities and an acquired brain injury. Through this role, she has worked alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Neuropsychologists to assist the client to incorporate mechanisms in order to develop, maintain and advance physical and mental capabilities. Holly has adapted her previous skills from a corporate environment to enable her to advocate confidently for her clients.

Holly has gained experience in working with all age groups having worked as a support worker in dementia and palliative care homes in Australia, as well as working with younger clients. Whilst living abroad, Holly was included in the care, support and rehabilitation of a young child who had sustained loss of limbs and extensive burns following a catastrophic accident. She assisted in rehabilitation programmes and delivered compassionate and empathetic support to the family during a challenging time of transition.

Holly also has experience with paediatrics with complex learning difficulties and has completed a residential placement in a specialist educational needs school. She has also undertaken local authority care in the community where she would regularly have to carry out dynamic risk assessments and manage challenging behaviour.

Using great empathy and calm, Holly quickly gains the trust of both her clients and their families, building long term relationships based on both understanding and respect. She takes the time to truly understand the needs and wants of her clients, going the extra mile to deliver varied activities that best suit their needs and ambitions. In this way, she continually seeks to maximise potential for fun, enjoyment and individual choice. She takes huge pride and pleasure in motivating clients to move forward and reach their full potential.

Holly is a loving mother of two and dedicates her spare time to enjoying time with her young children, enjoying the outdoors whenever the English weather allows. When she has a rare moment to herself, she enjoys arts and crafts and in particular creating unique furniture, renovating old pieces and giving them new purpose and character.
