Lynsey works as an Assistant Case Manager with adults and families. She has followed the Community Case Management comprehensive training pathway. She therefore has a full understanding of the litigation process and the importance of record keeping and documentation. The role includes making sure that appointed support workers are able to make full use of our documentation templates, providing accurate and appropriate information that aids in the holistic presentation of the clients’ care needs.

Lynsey has been working within the care sector for over 13 years as she has a passion for helping and caring for others. She started as a Support Worker and worked her way up to a senior role. She has experience of working with the elderly and young adults and has specialised in mental health, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour, some clients of which are physically disabled and have acquired brain injuries.

On the job training has given Lynsey confidence, knowledge and experience when working with clients with individual needs and requirements. She has enjoyed working with clients on a 1:1 basis, having to adapt everyday living and tailoring it for the individual. This has involved creating and developing personal plans which are sensitive to the client’s needs and clear for the team to follow.

Communication, effective planning and organisational skills have been essential for Lynsey when planning trips and group activities suitable for her clients, as well as adhering to their personal needs and requirements at all times and reviewing on a regular basis.

Throughout her career, Lynsey has worked collaboratively with professional parties such as psychiatrists, doctors, social workers and physiotherapists. Building close, trusting relationships with family and colleagues also plays a key role.

Lynsey is able to assess, plan, create and implement individual person-centred plans and then review these once implemented.

Lynsey has been working with CCMS since 2014, initially as a Support Worker and progressing to a Case Manager Assistant working with a variety of clients.

Lynsey thoroughly enjoys creative hobbies which includes baking and cross stitch. She enjoys keeping fit and attends CrossFit on a regular basis. In her spare time, Lynsey loves spending time with friends and family.

“I always keep a positive outlook on life and in any situation. I am loyal and hard working with years of experience. I put all my knowledge into practice and always put my clients’ first.”
