*Male Support Worker
Male Support Worker required for a child who is wheelchair dependent and is a bright, intelligent and happy young man living in Wolverhampton. He uses eye gaze communication but he can communicate his needs by signs and non verbal communication.
Our client attends a school for children with special needs. He has additional one-to-one support at school due to the complexity of his care needs. Our client requires assistance with personal care. He has an extensive therapeutic program to help maximize his physical and emotional well-being.
He has support at home, both from parents/family members. He loves football, watching sport and computer games. We seek an active male interested in assisting our client with wheelchair sports and scouts activities.
Working hours will be 14-16 hours a week. Term time hours will be 7.00-8.30, 16.00-12.00 Saturdays 8.00-14.00, Sundays 8.00-20.00 or 8.00-17.00. School Holidays 8.00-13.00,17.00-21.00, Saturdays 8.00-14.00, Sundays 8.00-20.00 or 8.00-17.00
