Bank Brain Injury Support Worker
BANK Support Worker required for an Adult with a brain injury living in the Bournemouth area.
Our client is an independent and active young woman, in her 20s, with an acquired brain injury. She loves fashion, music and going for walks with her very friendly dog. She is looking to increase her support team and seeking PAs who are organised, energetic, positive and enthusiastic about life. They would be required to assist and motivate her safely and independently within her own home and to access her community. Her PAs will be required to support her with her ongoing rehabilitation program and work alongside a small team of therapists. Day to day support is required with planning, budgeting and other personal administration, assisting with cooking and household tasks, liaise with therapy team and other health professionals.
The BANK Support Worker will be required to cover shifts as and when required, staff holidays and sickness. They should be flexible and willing to deal with the day to day needs of the family. A variety of shifts are available to include days, nights and weekends.
Some experience of brain injury and support work is desirable, but not essential as full induction will be provided.
All posts are subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
