Rehabilitation Assistant/Support Worker
We are recruiting an enthusiastic and caring rehab assistant/support worker who has experience of working with young adults with additional needs. This is an ideal role for someone interested in brain injury rehabilitation, psychology, occupational therapy or physiotherapy.
You will be responsible for enabling the client to lead a fulfilling social life, appropriate to a girl of her age, including enabling development of social skills, enabling the client to develop and maintain meaningful friendships, assisting in researching, planning, booking and taking part in fun activities with friends, weekend day trips, longer trips around the UK, and trips abroad. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, including personal care, maximising the client’s physical and psychological well-being, and maintaining safety at all times.
Working hours will be approximately 15 hours per week. This will be Wednesday evenings and one weekend shift, weekend hours are approximately 10.00am – 5.00pm, additional hours will be available.

All posts are subject to DBS Enhanced Disclosure. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential and must be happy to drive on motorways and long distance journeys if required.
